American rock band Guns N' Roses are all set to perform in Mumbai on May 17. As fans get ready to witness them for only the second time in India after 2012, these two Mumbai hardcore fans not only boast of attending the concert 13 years ago, but also owning a special edition guitar, plectrums and more

Veeraj, who is a chef by day, has lived and breathed Guns N' Roses' music ever since they released their debut album 'Appetite For Destruction' (AFD) but totally entered it in 1991. He even attended their performance in Mumbai during their first-ever tour of India in 2012 and it was a dream come true because he still remembers the moment they played 'November Rain' like it was yesterday
However, the Mumbaikar who has been the biggest fan of the band, which also fights for the top spot with Nirvana and Metallica, has fandom that is unmatched as it not only includes knowing their discography, but also owning other paraphernalia of them. While he has printed posters of their performances from all over, he also has a funko pop of Slash, along with GnR mugs, plectrums and T-shirts, his team went ahead and even gifted him a beautiful AFD Slash Edition Epiphone 2 electric guitar.
The 44-year-old Mumbaikar identifies with the band's raw sound, rebellious spirit, and emotional depth, which shaped a huge part of my musical identity, and his love for them is still going strong
It is no different with 45-year-old Iyengar yoga teacher Siddharth Bangera from Bandra, who has also been a fan since their first album. Ever since he attended their first concert in Mumbai 13 years ago, this is going to be his fourth concert as he attended his second and third in Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively
Being a hardcore fan, Bangera loves the concert experience because one he gets engulfed by the band's music there is no looking back. He loves their complex song writing, but not without Axl's piano mastery besides Slash's guitar riffs, and 'Estranged', which always brings tears to his eyes (Photo Courtesy: Veeraj Shenoy)
