Q. What's the nicest thing I can do for my husband other than have sex with him whenever he wants?
A. Be kind, supportive, honest, accepting and open to some of the things he likes. And please tell him the truth: that you didn't marry him just so he could have his way with you whenever he felt like it. If he believes sex is all you can do to prove how much you care about him, he's been watching the wrong kind of movies and needs to be re-educated. Come to think of it, a lot of Indian men seem to need this sort of intervention. It must be a cultural thing.

Q. I am fed up of life. My marriage is a disaster. Will I get a new lease in life with my new girlfriend?
A. You seem to have confused me with an astrologer who claims to predict the future. Linda Goodman, the astrologist who wrote a book called Love Signs, married twice, proving that she probably couldn't read her own signs very well either. I don't know you, your girlfriend, your wife, or why your marriage is a disaster. Maybe it is a disaster because you have a new girlfriend? Either way, I'm not sure I can help in any way. Good luck.

Q. My girlfriend says I send her too many text messages through the day. She says it affects her work and interferes with her other duties. I'm just being affectionate. Is she being difficult?
A. Not everyone feels the need to listen to or receive terms of endearment from the people they are dating. Some people believe there is a time and place for these exchanges of love. If you do care about her as much as you say you do, why can't you respect her wishes? She isn't pushing you away; all she is doing is asking you to respect her life outside this relationship. You would want her to do the same for you, wouldn't you?
