'When is it a good time to propose?'

Q. What's a good time to tell her I'm in love?
A. Doing it while watching a movie is probably a bad idea, as is doing it while trying to get inside a Virar local. What this question tells me is that you are incapable of figuring out when the girl you're supposedly in love with must be told that you care about her. This is worrying because, if the two of you decide to marry and eventually have children, they may not be the brightest bulbs in the room. Assuming this reply has failed to answer your question so far, here's a simpler attempt: Do it when you think she's in a good mood and you believe your declaration will make her happy. Unless you're a stalker, in which case there is never a good time.

Q. Should I write her a love poem to tell her how I feel? I'm an engineer, but I think I am also a poet.
A. I strongly believe this may be an awful poem and urge you to reconsider. If you still feel a desperate need to send her a love poem, why not copy out one written by a genuine poet instead?

Q. I fantasise about someone else while I'm with him. Is that normal?
A. It may be perfectly normal to walk arm in arm with a man who looks and talks like an underworld Don, while fantasising about what life would be like if you weren't dating someone who looks like a criminal. But that's an exception. The bigger question that needs to be asked here, is why you feel the need to fantasise about someone else in the first place, assuming you wilfully chose to be with this person? If he is also fantasising about someone else all the time, maybe the two of you have unreasonable expectations or simply need to be with other people. Have a conversation with him, tell him how you feel, and send us a weepy letter when this relationship eventually ends. If he does understand though, and has no problem with your fantasies, he is obviously a rare and wonderful man who must be held on to.
