My boyfriend is moving to another city for work and I don’t know if it makes sense for our relationship to continue. I have asked him to end it, but he thinks I'm being pessimistic for no reason
By your logic, you should avoid all relationships altogether, to avoid the possible pain of them all ending at some point. Or avoid reading a good book or watching a good movie to avoid being upset when or how it eventually ends. Your boyfriend is right. You haven't even tried this, or waited for him to actually move and see what it's like. Yes, a lot of long distance relationships end because they are difficult to manage. But there are also a million relationships that end despite people living in the same room. What happened to friends of yours needn't happen to you. All you have to consider is how badly you want your boyfriend in your life. If he is important, why not try and make it work? If he isn't, and you intend to end this anyway at some point in the future, now is the time to tell him. End it for the right reasons though, not simply because he is moving to another city and you're afraid of trying hard enough to make it work.
My problem is complicated. I cheated on my boyfriend over 2 years ago. He has changed for me now. He doesn't love me, but wants me to meet him. I am confused. What does he want from me?

I am confused too. I can't, for the life of me, understand your question.
