My boyfriend of two months thinks it's okay to look through my purse when I'm not around and thinks I'm overreacting when I ask him not to...
Of course not; he has obviously not been raised right. No one has the right to go through your personal belongings without your permission.
I was madly in love with someone for a few years, during which we went out a few times but didn't ever get to a stage where we were in a relationship. I did tell her how I felt, but she never responded, so I assumed things were never going to happen and began going out with someone else. I bumped into her a week ago though, and she said she felt the same way I did, and wondered why I didn't ever ask her to consider getting into a relationship. This confused me, because I was pretty clear that I wanted to be with her, while she was the one who kept ignoring everything I said. I don't know if she knows what she wants, and I don't want to jeopardise my current relationship for something that may not be true at all. At the same time, I can't forget about the fact that I was once madly in love with her. What do you suggest I do?
You are currently in a relationship and did spend two years trying to convince this woman that you were in love with her. What you choose to do next depends solely upon how much you care about the woman in your life and whether or not you want to risk everything to get into a relationship with someone you don't quite understand and who may have her own reasons for approaching you now. I suggest you think about your relationship carefully before you make any hasty decisions.
