'I love her but had crushes on other girls too'

I am 25 years old and my girlfriend is a month older than me. I recently spoke to her mother about our relationship, but I am a bit confused about whether I did the right thing or acted in a hurry. We have been in a relationship for 3 years. During this period, I was attracted to two other girls. Kindly help me out with this confusion in my mind.

It seems to me as if you are happy with this relationship, but are simply afraid of commitment. If the two of you have been together for 3 years, something must be going right. As for being attracted to other people, that's fairly normal too, but all that matters is if you know whether or not you like being with your girlfriend. If she really is someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, harmless infatuations don't matter. I can't help you make this decision. It is something you alone can do, based on who you believe you can spend your life with.

If I understand you correctly (and the jury is out on that one), you want me to help you understand a colleague better, because you're in love with her. Your wife and her husband are not part of this conversation at all, I suppose, so let me simplify your question. What you are asking me is a way of dealing with an attempt at adultery. I'm afraid this is the wrong forum for that sort of thing.
