It is party season and it makes sense that a new Just Dance is out with the latest and the most popular tunes on the market. The game is almost identical to the previous version with a few additions, like the new fitness mode, dance lab and a new kid's mode. The Fitness mode really gets you sweating by making you move, they estimate the calories burnt, track the duration of play and number of songs danced. The Dance Lab takes you through a variety of dance styles, it is one of the most fun modes in the game. The most useful is the new Kids mode if you have kids there a lot of kid friendly songs and easy dance moves with graphics geared at kids, it's fun for adults too.

The game also has a multiplayer mode called the World Dance Floor, where you can dance along with players from the rest of the world. Just Dance 2018 also gives you access to all its previous library of songs in the Just Dance Unlimited section, which makes having the new game worth it. As with the previous game you can use a variety of controllers most notably your phone. This allows you to play the game in a party without springing for additional controllers.

Just Dance 2018 is a great game but at this point it is something that needs to be one game where you just buy a pack to upgrade rather than a completely new game every year. Get it if you don't have this game in your arsenal, it is great for parties and social gatherings. If you have Just Dance 2017 then there isn't enough in this to warrant a completely new game.
