The snack joint was started by Motiram Devnani who used to sell Chaat from his hand-cart outside the Pune Railway Station. After running the business for years, he gave it to Sanjay Yande who was working under him and Yande and his son Sachin runs the business now.

"We have maintained the taste of the Chaat over all these years. The masalas are of good quality and the kitchen is hygienic; we also train the people working with us to be hygienic.

" He added that they make new additions to their list of mouth-watering dishes every two months so that the customers get variety. All the ingredients used are made at the shop itself, including the farsan and puris needed to make the Chaat items.

Apart from Chaat, they also offer Mirchi Pakoda, Dahi Bhalle and Bombay Chaat, a preparation made from Kabuli Chole, Boondi and Papdi. Their Pani Puri is priced at Rs 25, Special Pani Puri and Jain Pani Puri for Rs 30 and Bombay Chaat for Rs 30, Lassi and Kulfi which are priced between Rs 25 to Rs 65, Mirchi Pakoda for Rs 30 and Tokari Chaat for Rs 50. u00a0
