The live art show and collection, titled Waterbearers, has been conceptualised by Divya Thakur of Design Temple and Nazneen Jehangir of Libellule. The aim behind the exhibition is to highlight the vitality of water and its paucity and thus, common water bearers such as storage cans, pots, drain pipes, filters, basins and water tanks have been transformed into sculptural objects.
The show includes beautiful floral installations and archival prints that spell hope and joy.
There are a total of 30 floral installations that come with signed prints. While the objects used for the installations have been picked up from flea markets and local bazaars across the city, the flowers have been sourced from locations such as Holland, Argentina, Australia, and South Africa.
If you're finding it tough to battle the summer heat, a visit to this beautiful water art exhibition is bound to provide for a refreshing change.
