Dear Diana,
I am a 25-year-old girl. I received an annonymous email from a guy saying that my boyfriend was cheating on me. I asked him about it but he said that he wasn't. He always hangs out with his best friend who is a girl. She borrows his boxers, goes to the movies with him (he pays) and even sleeps in the same bed as him. She has admitted that she likes him more than just a friend. Is my boyfriend cheating on me with his best friend or am I being paranoid?

HP
Dear HP,

Okay, first of all there are boundaries. And this girl may want to cross them, but it is your boyfriend who is in a relationship andu00a0 should be telling her what is appropriate and what isn't. While going to movies together is acceptable, wearing his boxers and sleeping in his bed is just wrong. Have you considered that it is not just she who likes him and maybe your guy has feelings for her too? They may be best friends but this isn't decent behaviour. Do you think he he sent the email anonymously, in the hope that you will break up with him? My advice is to talk to him, and tell him how it makes you uncomfortable for him to share his boxers/bed with her. If he can't/won't stop doing those things he's just not worth your time.

Everyone makes fun of me for being short...

Dear Diana,

Being short is a huge problem for a guy. At school I am treated differently for my lack of height. I bought a pair of shoes with a bit of a heel and that's the only time I felt a bit taller. Why should only women be able to wear high heels. I always dreamed of being like my tall brother and sister but it never happened. I just feel that they used all the height genes up and left me with nothing. It bugs me.

XXX
Dear friend,

There's nothing wrong with being short. Some of our top actors are short. At school, everyone is made fun ofu00a0 short, tall, thin, fat, long nose, bad hair.u00a0 Don't pay any attention to people who make fun of you. Just laugh it off or ignore them and they'll get bored and eventually stop. And anyway, you're still growing man... puberty lasts till 22 so you have a few more years. You'll be alright. Height doesn't make a man.u00a0

Does dressing sexy make me appear easy?

Dear Diana,

I am a 19-year-old girl. I want to know what differentiates a one-night-stand from a girl who is a keeper. What makes a girl ideal for a relationship? What kind of girls would guys consider good for only one night? I'm talking looks and personality. Also if a girl is dressed sexy then do guys immediately think she is easy? If a girl is dressed sexy would you not automatically assume she is confident about her body? I am trying to figure out how guys think, as I don't want them to think less of me.

Prajakta
Dear Prajakta,

A keeper will not have a one night stand. A one night stand is just that, one night. The most exciting part of a relationship is the prolonged chase before it even begins, the tension and uncertainty. Why end that in one night? Ever heard the old analogy of the cat and the string?? Try dangling, swirling and teasing a cat with a piece of string? It goes crazy trying to catch that slippery little sucker... but drop it on the ground and it'll poke it a few times (hehehe), then get bored and walk off. Same principle with one night stands and keepers. If a guy thinks you're easy then that really affects what type of guys will come after you to begin with....
