I live with twou00a0 roommates. We wake up and sleep together. We do get lonely sometimes and because of a society rule that forbids us from getting women into the building, end up pleasuring each other. This arrangement was working out well until one of us got a girlfriend. Soon, theyu00a0 began enjoying female company at their lady friends' place. It's not that I'm not good-looking or can't chat up a girl, it's just that I ain't attracted to women. Is that so wrong?

Well, it isn't wrong. And if you feel that way, you just do. You won't stop loving guys any lesser, no matter what I say. Some guys just enjoy the company, attention and TLC from other dudes. No one can force you to behave otherwise after they're done using you,u00a0 because you ain't done yet.u00a0 I'd say find love/attention elsewhere if these roommates can't understand what you're going through.

Thanks a lot, Diana ('Why can't she stay friends with guys?'; HiTLIST, June 17). I'll try and change myself. I'll try and not expect anything from anyone. I think this is the only way one can be happy. It's not that I expected anything in return (except being good friends for life) but I guess expectations lead to disappointments.

Expectations do lead to disappointments. That goes without saying. But your world doesn't beghin and end with this girl. You're married to someone. Why are you ignoring her in all this. How does friendship become more important than a commitment (of marriage) you made. Stop behaving like a petulant child and accept that she doesn't want you in her life. Don't really make too much of it.

Dear Saif,
There is no surefire, immediate way of figuring out if you are gay or bisexual. That's something you'll know and feel from within. Nobody will 'diagnose' you as having a 'condition' because it isn't. If you feel that way, there's little I can help you with. If you feel guilty, it's probably because you think you're letting someone down. Are you? There's no way someone can train you to be heterosexual if you have a tendency to explore your sexuality.
