According to Sin Chew Daily, a Singaporean report stated a urologist as saying that men would secrete more testosterone and adrenaline when the matches became intense.

In the report, a doctor had said that there was a higher chance of husbands having sex with their wives if the team he supported won and after he had had a few rounds of beer, reports the Star Online.

On the other hand, if the team lost, the excitement died down and the men tended to lose their "oomph" for sex.
