Shigmo is Goa's answer to Holi, and is the state's biggest spring festival. A spectacular 14-day display of Goan ethnicity and mythology will be on show as the annual parade that takes place across Goa. This festival is filled with colours, music and elaborate folk perfomances by local men and women who dance tirelessly in huge processions along with the parade.

Gypsy Festival, Jodhpur - March 13-15
Celebrating the Gypsy voyages, Mehrangarh Museum Trust has announced the very first edition of the Jodhpur Flamenco & Gypsy Festival (JFGF). This three-day musical extravaganza will bring the best Flamenco traditions to India and provide an opportunity for the musicians from different gypsy traditions to collaborate and learn from each other.
