It's The Edge's (David Howell Evans) birthday tomorrow (August 8), and so we felt the urge to celebrate U2's iconic lead guitarist. For a departure from his guitar-playing wizardry we'll suggest Beautiful Day, where he provided backing vocals to complement Bono's earthy lead vocals. The up-tempo track makes for essential feel-good listening on your playlist this weekend, so… don't let it get away!

Dreamy, melodious, and perfect for a rainy evening walk down Mumbai. This one is for lazy Sunday strolls or late midnight waltzes in your room.

Basket Case by Green Day

The trailer of the upcoming movie Nimrods based on the early days of punk rock band Green Day, had us dial back to the 2000s. It feels like yesterday that we were blown away by Billie Joe Armstrong's angsty, grunge-heavy vocals cutting through the band's guitars.

Chadariya Jhini by Kabir Cafe

Based on a famous poem by the 15th-century saint Kabir, Chadariya Jhini uses the "chadariya" (a finely woven cloth) as a metaphor for the human body and life. The lyrics remind listeners that life is a precious gift entrusted to us for a limited time, and encourage living with honesty and integrity.
