Why Genelia D'Souza's look this week is desi look done right

When we first spotted Aditi in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na dressed in a purple number from the song Pappu Can't Dance, we knew fashion would be her forte. Decades later, Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh continues to make a case for her style; this time adding a traditional touch to festive dressing.

The beige saree features an intricate floral print in earthy shades of rust, brown, black, and muted blue. Its soft, fluid drape creates an elegant silhouette, while the printed pallu adds character to the otherwise muted base. The saree is paired with a black blouse and flared skirt, with metallic stripes on the blouse echoed in the skirt's shimmer. The texture adds the right amount of understated finish.

For accessories, she paired a choker with matching jhumkas, stacked bangles and rings while keeping her hair simple, with a neat parting and soft waves swept over one shoulder. A tiny bindi and defined kohl-lined eyes complete the desi look.
