Why we like Diljit Dosanjh's desi denim vibes this week

The last time we liked a denim-on-denim look was when Britney Spears rocked the now-iconic denim outfit pairing it with Justin Timberlake at the 2001 American Music Awards at Los Angeles.

But, we're distracted in a good way thanks to Diljit Dosanjh, the reigning king of Punjabi pop who brings his own desi twist to the trend. Dressed in a head-to-toe denim set, he pairs a statement jacket with illustrated faces with loose, matching jeans.

The relaxed fit gives the look a cool, oversized feel, while the bright red turban adds just the right hint of colour as American fashion designer Bill Blass would say. He rounds it off with basic white trainers, keeping the whole ensemble easy, and unmistakably Diljit.
