Mumbai: Corpse of woman wrapped in plastic bag found in Vasai

The dead body of an unidentified woman wrapped in a plastic bag has been found in Vasai (east) beside the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway on Saturday night.

A team from the local police along with the crime branch official rushed to the spot and inspected the area.

According to the police sources the body has not been identified yet was found in a decomposed state. The woman is said to be about 35 to 40 years old. Police have registered a case of murder and investigation is underway.
