A bike accident occured at at a bus stop in Vanrai Colony, opposite the Hub mall in Goregaon East on the WEH at around 1 pm on Wednesday.

Both victims were admitted to a nearby hospital.
The bike's front wheel broke off when front brakes were suddenly applied

An eye witness said that the bike was being ridden at a very high speed and the rider applied emergency, front disc brakes, thus making the vehicle go out of control as the rim of the front tyre got broken due to the high pressure.
The man riding the bike hurt his leg, but his companion who was riding pillion suffered major head injuries.
