Now, Nitish Kumar's friend-turned-opponent Prakash Jha has started a TV channel in Bihar called Maurya TV, which say cynics will counteract the misinformation about law order and politics filtering out of Bihar.
But Jha denies it. "It's an infotainment channel devoted and restricted to Bihar. We aren't looking for footprints outside Bihar.
Yes, the focus would be on happenings in the state, but it will be an independent, unbiased channel."
He added that Bihar badly needed a channel that represented the state. "The content should be put together in Bihar and should voice the concerns of the state."
