Airport loaders detained for baggage theft

There is some good news for frequent fliers who may have experienced baggage theft at the airport. The Andheri (E) police have caught two airport loaders and recovered lost luggage.

Vinayak Saude, Senior Inspector, Andheri crime branch said, "We have brought them for questioning. There have been no arrests as yet."

The police are questioning and cross checking the allegation that they are robbing baggage of passengers. The police refused to divulge more information claiming that the case is under investigation.

There are several cases of jewelery thefts, baggage being ripped open and removal of watches, video cameras and even gold ornaments.
