A major road accident on the Western Express Highway, near the Kingfisher building in Vile Parle, led to a death of a woman who was on the way to work.
According to the Vile Parle police, the victim died on the spot when a dumper hit the Scooty (MH-03 AJ 5469) she was riding.
The police has arrested the driver and the body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem.
The traffic on the Western Express highway was badly disrupted for more than 30 minute due to the accident.
