Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray visited the residence of Bharatiya Kamgar Sena secretary Manoj Dhumal in Mumbai during the ongoing Ganeshotsav 2026 celebrations.

In his post, Thackeray extended greetings to people on the occasion of Ganeshotsav 2026 and shared images from his visit.
The visit comes as Ganeshotsav celebrations continue across Mumbai, with households, residential societies and community organisations hosting Lord Ganesha idols and holding religious and cultural events.
Several parts of the city have seen increased activity during the festival, with devotees visiting prominent public installations as well as neighbourhood celebrations.
Ganeshotsav is among Mumbai's biggest annual festivals, with celebrations taking place across the city. Large public installations as well as smaller household celebrations are drawing devotees during the festival period.
The 12-day festival began on Monday with the installation of Lord Ganesha idols in homes and public venues across Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra.
The celebrations will conclude on September 25 with Anant Chaturdashi, when devotees will take part in immersion processions.
Major public installations had begun bringing in their idols in the weeks leading up to the festival, while households and smaller community groups welcomed idols on the opening day.
Families and neighbourhood groups also held traditional prayers and ceremonies following the installation of the idols, marking the start of the annual celebrations.
In key hubs of Lalbaug, Parel, Girgaon, Andheri, Chembur, and Fort in Mumbai, entire neighbourhoods have been bathed in colourful light displays. Bustling markets of Dadar, Crawford Market, and Lohar Chawl saw an outpouring of eager shoppers gathering last-minute festival essentials - from traditional "makhar" decorations and fresh garlands to festive sweets and ceremonial items.
Lalbaug remains the heart of the festival, drawing huge crowds to iconic pandals like Lalbaugcha Raja, Chinchpokli, Ganesh Galli, and Tejukaya.
Across the city, the ongoing Ganeshotsav festivities continue to showcase deep religious devotion, marked by massive public congregations, vibrant aartis, and artistic pandal installations.
