Global tech giants attend day 1 of IIT Bombay placement season

Global companies, including Silicon Valley tech giants such as Apple, Microsoft, and Google, arrived on Day 1 of the first phase of the placement season at IIT Bombay, according to student sources.

A total of 42 companies have offered 98 job placements so far. Students say they have high expectations from Day 2.

The placement season kicked off on Monday, December 1, and will continue until mid-month.

In the meantime, students are looking ahead to Day 2 of the placements, when even more global and national firms are expected to participate, students said. Elon Musk's Tesla is one of the most anticipated recruiters scheduled to arrive on Day 2, according to student sources.
