Indian Mujahideen operative arrested by the Mumbai crime branch last year for his alleged role in several blast since 2005 was discharged in the 7/11 serial train blast case of 2006.

Sadiq Shaikh had confessed to Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad police investigating the last year blasts about his and role of four other IM members in the train blasts.

Even Mumbai crime branch had visited the Sewree home where they had planned and made the bombs. However, Mumbai's Anti-Terrorism Squad, who took his custody from the crime branch found that he had no role to play in the train blasts and had already given him a clean chit.

Sadiq,u00a0 one of the co-founder of Indian Mujahideen was arrested from Cheetah camp in Chembur by the crime branch last year along with 19 opearatives for their role in Ahmedabad and Delhi blasts.
