Hussain, say officers from the investigation agencies, would help Shaikh recruit. When produced at the NIA Special Court on Saturday, he confessed to his crime. When asked by Special NIA Judge N K More if he was beaten in custody, Hussain said, "Mujhse galti ho gayi hai." The court granted the NIA a transit remand of three days where they'd be allowed to take Hussain to Delhi and produce him on Monday at the Patiala Court. Hussain's wife, however, rubbished the claim, saying he was probably coerced. Sources said Hussain has two daughters and stays with his wife and mother. He is a goldsmith who runs a small unit at Musaffirkhana. The Maharashtra ATS also helped NIA nab Moazzam Khan Pathan, a resident of Vaijapur in Aurangabad. The police said Moazzam Khan is ISIS's number three person in India and was in touch with several commanders in Syria. Among those arrested on Friday is Khalid alias Rizwan Ahmed Ali Nawazuddin from Kasiya District in Kushinagar, UP. The Maharashtra ATS believes that Rizwan was instrumental in indoctrinating Ayaz Sultan, the missing Malvani youth who is suspected of having left the country and joined ISIS.
