Mumbai witnessed its 53rd Cadaveric Donation at Fortis Hospital, Mulund when the family of a brain dead patient consented to donate his heart, liver and kidneys. The patient sustained grave injuries causing intracranial bleed following a fall in his home before he was rushed to the hospital on 22nd November, 2016. We remain indebted to the warm response by donor's family and express our heartfelt gratitude for this noble deed."
