The Cuffe Parade police have booked an Army sepoy for allegedly molesting a domestic worker at Navy Nagar on Thursday evening. The 21-year-old complainant told cops that the accused touched her inappropriately inside the lift of the Brahmaputra building, where she works.

While filing a complaint in the matter, she also mentioned that he was in uniform when the incident took place. The police have registered a case under sections 354 A, 354 D and 343 of IPC. Speaking to mid-day, an officer from Cuffe Parade police station said, "We have registered a case in the matter and are investigating it further. We are also scanning CCTV footages to gather evidence. He will be arrested soon."
