A tragic incident involving a man trespassing on the railway tracks between Bandra and Mahim stations has resulted in a fatality and significant disruption to Western Railway's fast track services on Friday morning.

The deceased was reportedly attempting to cross the tracks when he was struck by a train. Authorities immediately responded to the scene to manage the situation and clear the remains from the tracks.

The accident severely impacted the fast track line heading towards Churchgate, causing all services to run approximately 30 minutes late. Following the removal of the body and track clearance, railway operations are being slowly resumed. Commuters should expect lingering delays as the Western Railway works to restore the regular schedule.
