Delayed bus, encroached road
Bus No. 248, the only one to Ramesh Nagar, Amboli, in Andheri West, is invariably delayed. There are huge lines at the bus stop at Andheri station and commuters get no information from officials about the delay or reasons for it. Recently, a police officer from the area was in the line and lost her cool, resulting in officials allocating another bus and renumbering it. We really need this bus as autos refuse to ply owing to it being minimum fare from either Andheri station or Ramesh Nagar. We are then left with no mode of public transport. Adding to our woes is the small lane that has bikes parked along it with an ever present garbage truck and chicken truck. Please help!

Dangerous dug-up road
The road inside the Tejpal charitable trust property behind Tejpal auditorium has been dug up to lay a BEST sub station for the past three months. Despite repeated complaints by the trust and the residents there is nothing the BEST is doing about it. The cables are open, debris all round and in the rains bound to be a short circuit. The places also will be a breeding ground for mosquitos, rodents, and the residents suffer. Just no action is being taken. Could you please highlight this issue and help?

Water being wasted at petrol pump
Every day the HP petrol pump at J Tata road and JTS Malani Marg Metro junction at Churchgate is using a high pressure hose to wash down vehicles during the acute water shortage in Mumbai. The BMC should shut down that facility so that employees cannot misuse and waste water, while the entire city is suffering from extreme water shortage. Since there are no CCTVs to check this, the facility needs to be shut down by the licensing authorities and the water department .

Garbage dumped on road
On JVLR service road next to Powai flyover, residents of Milind Nagar are dumping garbage on the road creating unhygienic surroundings. On making complaints the L Ward garbage department picks up the trash, but the dumping doesn't stop. There was a garbage bin on the main road opposite L&T AM Naik tower, which has been removed. So, garbage is being thrown on the road. BMC needs to provide a garbage bin at Milind Nagar.

Trash on road
There is a pile of garbage always noticed behind Rajesh Khanna garden in Santacruz West. People dump everything from debris to sofas! And it's rarely picked up. Sadly it's prime real estate. Dear BMC what will it take to keep this city clean?
