Central Railway has announced the introduction of two weekly express train services between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai, and Hazur Sahib Nanded on a regular basis.
The new trains were formally inaugurated on July 6, 2026 by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, the Union Railway Minister and other dignitaries.
The first weekly service will begin with Train No. 17667 Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT Express on July 8, 2026, followed by Train No. 17668 LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express on July 9, 2026.
The second weekly service will start with Train No. 17665 Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT Express on July 13, while Train No. 17666 LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will begin operating from July 14, 2026.
Train No. 17668 / 17667 Weekly Express
The 17668 LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Thursday at 4.55 pm and arrive at Hazur Sahib Nanded at 9.10 am the following day, starting from 9 July.
The return 17667 Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT Express will depart every Wednesday at 9.15 pm and reach Mumbai at 1.00 pm the next day, beginning 8 July.
Halts: The train will stop at Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola, Washim, Hingoli Deccan, Basmat and Purna.
Train No. 17666 / 17665 Weekly Express
The 17666 LTT-Hazur Sahib Nanded Express will depart every Tuesday at 4.35 pm from July 14 and arrive at Nanded at 9.10 am the next day.
The 17665 Hazur Sahib Nanded-LTT Express will leave every Monday at 9.15 pm from July 13 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1.40 pm the following day.
Halts: The second weekly train will stop at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola, Washim, Hingoli Deccan, Basmat and Purna.
Both trains will have the following coaches: 1 AC First Class coach, 2 AC Two-Tier coaches, 6 AC Three-Tier coaches, 7 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches, 1 Generator Van and 1 Second Seating-cum-Guard's Brake Van
Reservations for Train nos. 17666 and 17668 will open on July 8, 2026 through all computerised railway reservation centres.
Passengers can also book tickets through the IRCTC website and the RailOne mobile app. Detailed train timings and live running information will be available on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and the Indian Railways enquiry portal, an official statement said.
