Mumbai is likely to see mainly clear skies across the city and suburbs on Tuesday, with the maximum temperature expected to be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 25 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) latest Mumbai weather update.
The island city recorded a maximum temperature of 32.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius. In the suburbs, the maximum temperature was 34.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 24.8 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

Among the monitoring stations, Deonar recorded the highest AQI at 110, followed by Ghatkopar at 97 and Chembur at 90.

Meanwhile, across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Thane's AQI stood at 100, while Navi Mumbai recorded 144 and Kalyan 98.
Maharashtra is witnessing varied weather conditions, with the IMD issuing yellow alerts for hot and humid conditions as well as thunderstorms and rain in several parts of the state.
In the Konkan belt, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg are under a yellow alert for hot and humid conditions, with the possibility of light rain or thundershowers during the afternoon and evening.
In Western Maharashtra, the IMD has issued yellow alerts for Kolhapur and Satara, forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph.
In Vidarbha, Gadchiroli is under a yellow alert, with the weather department forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph.
The contrasting weather conditions across Maharashtra come as temperatures remain high in parts of the state, while thunderstorms and rain are likely to develop over several districts, particularly during the afternoon and evening.
