The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain across Mumbai city and suburbs on Tuesday.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 31 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is likely to settle near 25 degrees Celsius.
According to tidal forecasts, high tide is expected at 11:45 am (4.01 metres) and 11:30 pm (3.50 metres). Low tide will occur at 5:51 pm (1.98 metres) and 5:23 am on July 29 (0.83 metres).
In the 24 hours ending at 8 am, Mumbai recorded 10.82 mm of rainfall, while the eastern suburbs received 19.39 mm and the western suburbs recorded 10.68 mm.
Mumbai's seven lakes supplying drinking water to the city now hold 12,85,449 million litres (ML) of water, which is 88.81 per cent of their total live storage capacity of 14,47,363 ML, according to the Hydraulic Engineer's Department (Bhandup Complex) report released at 6 am on Tuesday, July 28.

Among the reservoirs, Modak Sagar remains 100 per cent full, while Vihar and Tulsi continue to overflow. Tansa is at 99.02 per cent capacity, Bhatsa at 87.36 per cent, Middle Vaitarna at 90.30 per cent, and Upper Vaitarna at 77.51 per cent.
Upper Vaitarna: Water level stood at 601.93 metres, rising by 0.13 metres in the last 24 hours. The lake holds 1,75,993 ML, or 77.51 per cent of its live storage capacity. It received 85 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours, taking the season's total rainfall to 2,432 mm.
Modak Sagar: The reservoir remained 100 per cent full with a water level of 163.16 metres and a live storage of 1,28,925 ML. It recorded 57 mm of rainfall, while cumulative rainfall reached 2,331 mm.
Tansa: The lake level increased by 0.01 metres to 128.55 metres. It now stores 1,43,652 ML, equivalent to 99.02 per cent of capacity. The reservoir received 47 mm of rainfall, with total seasonal rainfall at 2,157 mm.
Middle Vaitarna: Water level stood at 281.79 metres, falling by 0.29 metres over the past 24 hours. The reservoir currently holds 1,74,754 ML, or 90.30 per cent of capacity. It recorded 40 mm of rainfall, taking the cumulative total to 1,982 mm.
Bhatsa: The city's largest reservoir rose by 0.14 metres to 138.70 metres. It now stores 6,26,381 ML, representing 87.36 per cent of its live storage capacity. Bhatsa received 72 mm of rainfall during the last 24 hours, while seasonal rainfall reached 2,001 mm.
Vihar: The reservoir level was 80.25 metres, dropping by 0.04 metres, but remained 100 per cent full with 27,698 ML in storage. It recorded 19 mm of rainfall, with cumulative rainfall at 2,104 mm.
Tulsi: Water level stood at 139.20 metres, falling by 0.02 metres. The lake continued to remain 100 per cent full, holding 8,046 ML. It received 20 mm of rainfall, taking total rainfall this monsoon to 2,871 mm.
