Mumbai is expected to experience a partly cloudy sky with light rain in the city and suburbs on Wednesday, according to the latest weather forecast issued at 8 am.

The western suburbs recorded the highest average rainfall at 16.20 mm, followed by the eastern suburbs at 12.46 mm. The city recorded an average of 10.52 mm of rainfall during the period.
The city is expected to witness a high tide of 3.61 metres at 2:41 pm on Wednesday. Another high tide of 3.69 metres is expected at 3:23 am on September 17.
A low tide of 1.04 metres is forecast at 8:31 pm on Wednesday, followed by another low tide of 2.22 metres at 8:56 am on September 17.
Residents in low-lying areas and those travelling near the coast are advised to remain alert during periods of heavy rainfall and high tide.
Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR is likely to remain partly cloudy on Wednesday, with rain and thunderstorms expected in several areas as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast continued wet weather across the region and adjoining parts of northwest India.
The national capital and neighbouring regions are likely to experience another spell of unsettled weather on Wednesday, with thunderstorms and lightning possible at isolated places.
The IMD has forecast isolated heavy rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are also likely at isolated locations in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Punjab and Uttarakhand.
The weather system could result in short spells of rain accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in some areas, rather than continuous rainfall throughout the day.
The wet conditions are expected to continue into Thursday, with the IMD forecasting fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab on Wednesday and Thursday. Isolated areas could also receive heavy rain during this period.
Bihar is also likely to witness rain and thunderstorm activity on Wednesday. Several parts of the state may receive showers, while thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are possible in some areas.
