26/11 terrorist, who is lodged at Arthur Road Jail, will approach the court with the request
Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Qasab, who went on a killing spree during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, wants newspapers and a TV in his cell.
Jail sources say Qasab made the request to a warden on Saturday. While Arthuru00a0 Road Jail superintendent Swati Sathe told MiD DAY that Qasab had made no such request, insiders say the jailer actually responded to his request by telling him that his fate did not permit him to watch television. Qasab reportedly reminded the jailor that his fate rests in the hands of God, and added that he would seek the court's permission for access to TV and local newspapers.
