Actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are being given extra protection by Mumbai police after the industrialist allegedly received an extortion call from gangster Ravi Pujari

Security around Raj Kundra's house has been beefed after the businessman reportedly got an extortion threat from fugitive gangster Ravi Pujari.

According to sources, "The gangster demanded Rs 3 crore and threatened Shilpa Shetty's husband with dire consequences.''

Meanwhile, Mumbai Crime Branch has initiated a probe into the threat call and are providing extra security to Kundra and his family.
It maybe recalled that the gangster in the recent past had threatened the entire unit of 'Happy New Year', including Shah Rukh Khan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani.
The Mumbai police is currently providing security to at least a half-a-dozen film personalities who have received extortion calls from the gangster in the past three years.
