The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms with lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds up to 50 kmph in Mumbai and Raigad over the next three to four hours.

Mumbai is likely to see thunderstorms along with lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) at isolated spots, gradually giving way to light rain and thundershowers, followed by isolated light showers through the week.

Meanwhile, Thane is also likely to experience thunderstorms with lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds at isolated places, followed by light to moderate showers, with isolated light rain expected throughout the week, according to IMD.

Mumbai and Thane are both expected to witness severe weather initially (thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain, strong winds), tapering into lighter, isolated rainfall over the next few days. Precaution is advised, especially during early thunderstorms.

There is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds at 40-50 kmph, and heavy rainfall at isolated places in the districts of Madhya Maharashtra.

Districts in Marathwada may witness thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds at 40-50 kmph, and light to moderate rainfall at isolated places.

In the districts of Konkan-Goa, isolated places are likely to experience thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds at 30-40 kmph, and light to moderate rainfall.

In Palghar, light rain is expected at isolated places on both Saturday and Sunday.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has indicated that the probability of these showers occurring is very likely, suggesting a consistent but scattered rainfall pattern across the district over the weekend.

Overall, the weekend across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region - including Palghar, Thane, and Mumbai - will be marked by scattered rain activity, with possible thunder on Saturday and lighter showers by Sunday.

On June 9, the weather is expected to transition to light rain at isolated places, with very likely probability on both days.
