Thane reports 20 Covid-19 cases, active tally at 174

Thane district on Thursday reported 20 new cases of Covid-19. The fresh cases took the infection tally to 1,97,038, according to a bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).

According to the civic body, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Friday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.

With addition of the latest coronavirus cases, Thane currently has 174 active cases.

26 Covid-19 patients recovered on October 20, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,702. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.81 per cent.
