A large number of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) supporters on Wednesday gathered in Dadar area of Central Mumbai to support the ongoing protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

Some of the supporters were reportedly detained by police before the planned protest at Shivaji Park in Mumbai began, sources said.
According to protesters at the scene, some students were stopped before reaching the protest site, while others claimed their mobile phones were confiscated during the police action.
Protesters said that the students were not being allowed to cross the Shiv Sena Bhavan signal in Dadar, with police restricting movement towards Shivaji Park.
One student standing near the protest site was reportedly detained after he was found recording videos at the site.
Witnesses said a young protester was seen arguing with police officers as several students, including his father, were taken into custody.
The incident led to tense moments as protesters questioned the detentions.
A group of protesters entered into discussions with police, urging officers to release those who had been detained before the demonstration.
The negotiations continued as more students gathered in the area.
After being prevented from moving through the planned route, the crowd turned back and made its way towards the area behind Sena Bhavan, where they continued their protest.
Later, protesters were seen entering Shivaji Park, where the demonstration continued under police presence.
Official sources said that the security around the protest site while students continued to gather and raise slogans.
