Mumbai Rains 2020: Heavy winds, showers bring down city temperature

Heavy rains have been lashing Mumbai for past three days with instances of water-logging and traffic diversion in low-lying areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the rains will continue in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and surrounding areas for the next 48 hours. The Santacruz observatory has recorded 28.6 mm rains in the past 24 hours, while the Colaba observatory recorded 57.2mm rains. The persistent showers along with cool breeze have brought the city temperatures down, making the weather pleasant.
