Some were seen sitting in shaded areas as temperatures remained uncomfortable throughout the day
Mumbai was on Wednesday expected to witness maximum and minimum temperatures of around 35 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD)
A weather bulletin, issued in the morning, stated that the city was expected to witness mainly clear skies on May 13
By evening, the city’s skies were cloudy
Thick clouds were witnessed near the coastal areas in Mumbai
