The maximum and minimum temperatures in Mumbai are likely to be around 32 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively, the weather department stated

A high tide of 4.46 metres was expected at 1.52 pm and a low tide of 1.58 metres at 7.57 pm, BMC said on Sunday

Citizens, especially those along the coastline, are advised to take necessary precaution, the Mumbai civic body said

Meanwhile, the water levels in lakes supplying drinking water to Mumbai have risen following heavy rainfall in their catchment areas

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) data, the combined stock in the seven reservoirs that provide water to the city now stands at 75.16 per cent. The total water stock in the seven lakes reached 1,087,865 million litres on Sunday

The weather department on Sunday stated that while the rainfall is not likely to be intense, residents should remain prepared for occasional showers
