The weather department on Sunday morning predicted that Mumbai was expected to witness a generally cloudy sky, with moderate rainfall expected across the city and suburbs

The IMD predicted that there was also a possibility of heavy showers at isolated places, accompanied by occasional gusty winds reaching speeds of 30–40 kmph

As per the tide forecast, a high tide of 4.60 meters was expected at 1.56 pm, followed by a low tide of 1.19 meters at 8.03 pm
