The new members inducted in Shiv Sena include Vikram Khamkar, Prafull Kamble, Peter D’Souza, Vilas Patil, Abhishek Kusalkar, and Sunil Kurade, among others, it said

Welcoming them into the party, Eknath Shinde urged all members to work with full dedication, the statement further said

“Only those who work sincerely in the party rise to the top. There is no place for favouritism or influence in our party. As the party grows, so does your respect,” Shinde said

Shinde further added, “I was the Chief Minister and am now the Deputy Chief Minister. We have power in our hands, but I have never misused it. Many of those who joined today once worked against us. Still, I never held any grudge. In politics, one must have the vision to rise above personal differences”

He described Thane district as a stronghold of the Shiv Sena, and said that the induction would further strengthen the party in the region
