Metro Line 4 is set to strengthen the connectivity between Mumbai’s eastern and western suburbs, benefiting a wide spectrum of the population, including daily commuters, students, and working professionals. 

Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik highlighted the transformative impact of the metro line on the region’s transportation landscape.

The first trial run of Thane Metro 4 marks a significant milestone in the ongoing development of the city’s rapid transit network.

The trial was carried out on the stretch between Cadbury Junction and Kasarvadavali, which has now been completed and cleared for operational testing.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, was also present during the first trial run.
