Mumbai Khabar: General public won't be allowed on local trains yet

Amid growing expectations of allowing the general public to use local trains, central and western railways have said that suburban services would be restored to 95 per cent of the pre-pandemic levels from Friday. However, no decision has been taken on access for all. Meanwhile, as the CoWIN app starts to function better, on January 27, the BMC set up another vaccination centre at SevenHills Hospital for the inoculation drive of the health workers, taking the total number of centres in the city to 11, including one centre run by the state government at JJ hospital.
