"DCPs of all the districts will be deployed for security on New Year's Eve. We can't tolerate any incident of eve-teasing on such occasions. So we have concentrated most of our personnel near pubs and restaurants.

New Year parties are also held in farmhouses in different areas of Delhi and on such occasions most people have a drink or two. So we have deployed several PCR vans in such areas. Joint Commissioners of the areas will be on patrol. Our main focus is to prevent eve-teasing and brawls," said BK Gupta, Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
