Bob Dylan to pen a musical

Music legend Bob Dylan has reunited with long-time song writing partner, lyricist Robert Hunter, to write a musical for the New York stage.

The pair is heading back into the studio once more to create music for an upcoming off-Broadway production, Contactmusic reported.

"He's got a way with words and I do too. We both write a different type of song than what passes today for song writing. We'll be writing a couple of other songs too, for some off-Broadway play," Dylan said. "Hunter is an old buddy. We could probably write a hundred songs together if we thought it was important or the right reasons were there," he added.

The 67-year-old star first collaborated with Hunter for his 1988 album 'Down In The Groove'. The 'Blowin' in the Wind' singer is currently working with Hunter to put together tracks for his new album, 'Together Through Life'.
