Who was Vinod Doshi?
Vinod Doshi was an eminent industrialist and Chairman of The Premier Automobiles Ltd.
He was closely associated with and headed many national business bodies including CII, IMTMA, SIAM, ARAI and MEDC as well as educational institutions and government and semi-government organisations. But his real passion was theatre and the arts.
Theatre veterans fondly recall spending days rehearsing their plays in his home, Walchand Terrace, and instances when he would go out of his way to help a theatre group or artiste for the sheer love of the art form.
