Confirming the same, Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF) and SGNP Director Sunil Limaye said, "We have been receiving several requests from consulates to organise different treks. We accepted the request made by the German Consulate and organised a three-hour long trek for them from Kanheri to Gaimukh. We are expecting many more requests from consul members."

Limaye added that the authorities were planning to organise new trails, as it would also provide more revenue to the park that would help in conservation. "By starting the treks at SGNP we want to attract more nature lovers so that they can explore the beauty in the park," said Limaye.

Going on the trek was a beautiful experience. Our entire team thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the beautiful flora and fauna. The view of the lake Tulsi and Vihar were spectacular."
