Abu Jundal's 26/11 case trial to begin May 4

The trial of the 26/11 suspect and LeT operative Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal will begin from May 4


The police chargesheet, which was filed in October, said that Jundal was a key conspirator and was present in the ‘control room' in Pakistan to give directions to the terrorists.

The Delhi police handed over his custody to Mumbai crime branch on July 21 last year. Currently, Jundal is at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. Abu Jundal is also accussed for his connection with the German Bakery blast case in Pune, involvement in Aurangabad arms haul case among others.
